Stopped in for a quick tasting. There seemed to be a lot of rules for what we could and couldn't taste, couldn't stand at the bar, and the lady seemed a little spicy with me, probably sick of tourists lol I wish the tasting glasses were included! I will say all the red wines were great, some of the best I've had!

The wines were excellent. Great variety. Loved the tastings and if you purchase a bottle the tasting is included. The ladies there were so kind a helpful. A must stop- they even have emergency cork screws!

We had a wonderful experience with Sanctuary Vineyards at the Duck Cotton Gin Tasting Room. Nikki made the visit memorable: she was friendly, smart, and clearly knew the vineyard’s wines well. She guided us through the tasting with confidence, answered our questions, and helped make the wines approachable and enjoyable. The wines themselves were good, and Nikki was fantastic. Her knowledge and personality were the highlight of the visit, and she represented the vineyard very well. That said, there were a couple of areas where the overall business experience could be improved. We did not visit the main vineyard because the website seemed to imply that advance notice was required, but Nikki said she had not heard of that limitation. Clearer website language would help visitors understand when and how they can visit each location. It also would have been helpful if the Duck Cotton Gin Tasting Room had a point-of-sale system that allowed customers to join the wine club and ship wine directly from that location. We were told that option was only available at the main vineyard, which felt like a missed opportunity after such a strong tasting-room experience. Overall, we enjoyed the wines, and Nikki delivered an excellent tasting. We may buy from Sanctuary Vineyards again in the future, but the customer experience would be even stronger with clearer visitors’ information and better purchasing and wine club options in the tasting room. With Nikki’s hospitality and the quality of the wines, Sanctuary Vineyards has a lot to offer, and we left with a very positive impression.
