Events must be submitted in writing for review prior to posting.

Events must be open to the public.

Events submitted for posting containing any of the following shall not be approved for posting:

• Profane language or content.

• Events that promote a specific religious, political activity or belief.

• Sexual content or links to sexual content.

• Content that promotes or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation.

• Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity.

• Information that may compromise public safety.

• Private events such as family reunions or birthday parties.

• Estate sales, auctions or garage sale advertisements.

• Business events that are primarily sales or discounts.

Currituck County reserves the right to refuse to post any event as appears in its judgment to be in the best interest of the County.
