Google really needs to give us the ability to leave a 10-star out of 5-stars review! When my mother passed recently, I wanted to work with a crematory/funeral home that would be kind, wouldn't push unnecessary upsells on us, and would walk with us through the entire process, because it's really, really hard. Through word of mouth, we kept hearing how good Gallop Funeral Home is. And Courtney from Gallop really outshined even the highest praise she got. She was patient, kind, and understanding. She never once pushed ANYTHING on me and my family. She gently asked questions about my mother's wishes, and she listened intently as I answered her questions. She did that even when I rambled or just went off track in my grief. Such kindness is a rarity in business these days, and even though one would hope for it in this type of a situation, you just don't know, right? But with Courtney and Gallop Funeral Home, you get all of this and more. When you lose a loved one, you can trust that Courtney and her team at Gallop will treat you well. Thank you Courtney, and thank you Gallop Funeral Home.

I attended services here this weekend for my best friends sisters service. The people working there were very nice and the place was clean. My complaint comes from the cemetery. During a prayer a worker truck for the cemetery pulls up close to the burial site. Little rude but had no clue it would get worse. After the funeral the immediate family asked for a private moment. The words the lady in charge chose to use were "the tent people are ready to break this down, the services are over go to your car." There were better ways to end the service. The worst part was the very end when the deceased ones children and grandchild tried to say their goodbyes and the workers started moving the framing and the carpet. Give these people a min. They are saying goodbye to a loved one. The people working for the cemetery I am very disappointed that you hovered and rushed in to do your job. You could have given those kids five minutes of peace. After this service we met for a social gathering and several immediate family members expressed how rude and rushed they felt the service was. I know that this review can't give them more time as the moment has passed, however I do hope this review saves another family from the same heartbreak.

I attended a memorial here on Sat., July 31st for a dear friend of mine. I found the staff to be friendly, yet very professional. The woman who was in charge once you entered, made sure you signed the guest book, gave a prayer card (for the deceased) and also passed out hand fans. She also directed you as to where to sit. The gentleman in the parking lot was very courteous when telling you where to park after asking if you were family or friends. I would certainly use this funeral home/chapel for my family when and if the time comes.
