Y’all, do yourself a favor and stop here! We’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for over a decade, and a local in Nags Head finally convinced us to give this place a try. From the road, it doesn’t look like much—just another little roadside barbecue joint—but don’t let that fool you. This is the real deal. The ribs were, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. They were tender, packed with flavor, and fell right off the bone. The mac and cheese was delicious, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The folks working there were as friendly as could be, and we got there just before the lunch rush. Seeing the place fill up with locals told us everything we needed to know. If the locals are lining up, you know it’s good! We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in the Outer Banks…don’t miss this one!

We stopped by here for lunch after seeing the good reviews. We ordered the rib steak special and bbq chicken sandwich. The rib steak was ok but a bit too fatty. The bbq chicken sandwich was too spicy and I was unable to eat it. The hush puppies were hard and cold. The peanut butter Rice Krispie treat was good. Overall we were a bit disappointed.

Great food, great staff, place for the entire family to eat. Has Many varieties of sauce NC vinegar SC mustard, Midwest sauce... Just all around good place to stop. Grandchildren loved the Mac and cheese and ff.
