We were staying in Virginia Beach and I wanted to knock North Carolina off my States to visit list so we looked up any good areas close enough to Virginia Beach and Currituck BBQ Company popped up as a recommendation. I'm so glad we chose this spot. We ordered a bit of everything and it was all good. We speak of this place quite often and contemplate making a 6 hour drive just for their BBQ.

We got the bbq chicken w/ french fries and the sweet potato casserole. The chicken was positively falling off the bone & the bbq complimented it perfectly. Also the sweet potato was about near addictive! Soooo good & everyone who goes in or out of OBX should stop by this place!

Good food. They are fast. The service was good but I did witness a guy get his order and said it was supposed to be to go. The guy brings it back sets it in the counter and walks away without recalling his number. I think depending what you order and the time of day they give fast food a run for their money. This was fast food. I didn't even get my drink filled before my number was called.
