This was an amazing place to stay. We spent the entire month of August 2026 here. It’s not fancy, but it’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Sandy is the BEST host ever. Steve and Angela are incredible owners. The full timers are all so nice too. There is so much to do and enjoy in the area, even catching blue crab off the pier and swimming in the Sound. We were so sad to leave. We HIGHLY recommend!

SALT OF THE EARTH! Sandy is amazing and so are ALL of the campers here. Very quiet and safe. IBEW Local 71 here and the owner is a lineman. Working lineman with families will find a warm welcome! The BEST campground for long term workers. The owner is also a LINEMAN as well and runs a tight ship! THE BEST CAMPGROUND I have ever stayed in all my 26 years as a lineman and traveler for projects in 28 states.

Stayed here multiple times and love it. Catck crabs and fish off the dock and swimming off of the beach. Seasonal campground camp fires are the best to meet other campers. Thank you Bells Island for all you do.❤️

I never write reviews for places (good or bad) but this is one that we will definitely be coming back to! We car camped for the night and this was a gorgeous place to stay! They also have full bathrooms and showers that were very clean. We plan on coming back this summer 🙂
